Clare established Red Consulting Group in 2003. Armed with over 20 years of HR and recruitment expertise, she has a huge breadth of professional experience in recruitment, HR and management in the corporate and private sectors in NZ and the UK.

Clare has a highly regarded reputation in the recruitment industry.  As the Managing Director and Leader of the Auckland team, Clare has been both coach and consultant.  Although she has become a specialist in her Executive search capacity, she still remains hands-on and is involved in recruiting for roles at all levels of business.  Her finely tuned people skills, commercial focus, integrity and passion for excellence in recruitment have secured Red Consulting Group’s place as a recognised leader in the recruitment landscape of NZ.

Clare's inital study through Victoria University gave her the platform for her HR career pathway, but more recently she has completed the Owner Manager Programme with The ICEHOUSE, which is reflected in her huge passion for commercial enterprise and her drive to see excellence and success throughout New Zealand businesses.

Rachel Cornwall

Managing Director, Hawkes Bay based

Rachel joined the business in 2003, and within two years took the lead to launch Red Consulting Group into the Hawkes Bay market.  From there Red has spread widely. 

Rachel is an Otago graduate and has completed ongoing postgraduate studies through Massey University.  Her corporate career has spanned project and programme management,  business development, sales and marketing strategy.

She brings a strong people focused approach and real strategic commercial acumen to recruitment.  Rachel has recruited across a broad range of industries. She is lucky enough to call Hawkes Bay home, although like the other key players at Red, her reach is not restricted to her geographical home base.  From Hawkes Bay Rachel has developed a particulary strong knowledge of the primary, agribusiness and infrastrucure sector. Like Clare, executive seach dominates the majority of her work but Rachel also plays a lead role in managing a team of consultants who recruit across all levels of business. 

Trudie Ward

Consultant, Auckland

Red welcomed Trudie to the team from a position of HR Manager within the pharmaceutical industry.  Trudie holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business in HR Management.  Her career has developed within the travel, tourism and pharmaceutical environments spanning sales and marketing to training, operations and human resources.

Trudie is passionate about ensuring the right fit for both employer and candidate, and feels a huge sense of achievement when she makes the perfect placement.

Amelia Dobbin

Consultant, Hawkes Bay

Red welcomes Amelia back to Hawkes Bay from London, via Perth.  She brings to the team a host of corporate and commercial expertise spanning public sector, banking, agribusiness and export.

Amelia brings a skill set anchored in business analysis.  With a degree in Criminology her career has evolved to have a very strong people and analytical focus. Her results orientation and commitment to excellence is a perfect fit with Red’s approach and philosophy in recruitment.

Tori Pearson

Consultant, Auckland

Attracted by Red's focus on building lasting client and candidate relationships, Tori has been a valued member of the Red team since April 2006.

Tori works closely with clients across a wide variety of industries.  She is passionate about understanding client and candidate expectations and ensuring the right fit between organisation and the right employee.

Rachelle Hayes

Recruitment Service Manager, Hawkes Bay

Rachelle Hayes joined Red’s Hawkes Bay office in March 2008.  She is responsible for Red Hawkes Bay's internal systems and ensures that all office systems run smoothly.

She runs the Temp assignments and provides full administration support to the team. She has a degree in HR, and previous experience in managing the administration of a busy analytical laboratory where she also held a large responsibility for health and safety, quality compliance and customer service. Rachelle is the backbone of the slick operation for Red Hawkes Bay.

Kim Matthews

Financial Controller, Hawkes Bay

A fully qualified Chartered Accountant Kim works part time providing financial expertise to the Hawkes Bay business.  She is also a great sounding board when we are recruiting accounting and senior finance appointments. A long standing member of the Red team, Kim's expertise is appreciated by both her fellow team members as well as our wider client base.
